GH flew to Shanghai for biz trip yesterday. If he knew earlier, i could have tagged along...hehe..
I'm back to my parent's home, back to my bedroom and to my famiiar hard bed and very nice to hug pillow (seems like without this pillow, i had some sleepless/disturbed nights at the new place, comtemplating to bring it back with me on Sat). Which means my bui bui will be very sad...kekeke...

Been having terrible headaches the past few days and slight headaches last week. Work has been busy and i decided i don't want to get too stressed out today and no resumes so means nothing much to do also although i have clients chasing me for profiles right behind me and many requirements to fill. No wonder i have stressful and terrible dreams even in my sleep.

Pastor's series of Rest messages these few Sundays have spoke to me and i pray I can come to a place of complete inner rest. I feel hactic on the outside and inside these few weeks and when there's no good profiles, all my worries comes in...all the what ifs...
- what if i do not have a single closure this week (nowadays, my boss started this weekly meetings to talk solely on closures)
- what if i have nothing to write about fo this month end performance report?
- what if....

I pray for a restful week......btw, no closure yet this week......but it's not my problem, it's His.

Happy National Day!!

A good break in the midst of the week. Went for a quiet dinner with my dearie after work on Wed evening and went for a stroll....ehh...ended up shopping trip at PS. there were 42% storewide sale for a few boutiques! so I was tempted....and my very rich (amen!) and super duper nice dearie paid for half of my shopping expenses. Don't mistake me, i'm a moderate shopper. hehehe....

National day is indeed a long awaited public holiday/rest since May/Jun. Received a super good news that a church friend just gave birth on National Day! We (my hubby and I) saw the sms from our friend while watching Rush Hour 3 at PS. Going to visit her and baby Shane later with dearie. This is their 2nd child and the dob for both children fall on such nice dates that my hubby and I will never forget, 1st child on my b'day 2 years back and another on my nation's b'day. :)) I wonder if they get any special treats (free diapers for 1 year, free slimming for mummy, free 1 year supply of baby powder milk etc...) for giving birth on National day, even though they are non-singaporeans..hehe..:P

We did not manage to catch NDP last evening, cos we relak one corner and catch up with 2 other church friends after the show. I went home and saw the news and was thanking God I was not anywhere near esplanade. The crowd was too much for me to take and worse of all, as the camera pend across the bridge and esplanade, there are more foreigners (which race you should have guessed) there than Singaporeans.

Secret

Watched jay chou's debut directed movie, Secret, on Saturday and it was surprisingly good! I mean i thought it would be the typical puppy love story and i still though so about halfway through the movie but didn't expect the twist to come in. When i saw the twist, i was still cynical and tot it's a copycat to the movie "Beautiful Mind" which i think is a very nice show. After watching further, i think the plot is different from Beautiful Mind but still good.

I give it 4 stars! :D

It's National Day tomorrow! Wonder what's there to watch.....Rush Hour 3?...never really watched 1 and 2 but the trailer for this 3rd sequel looks good and funny too! Let me go check out the showtime now! :)

Another Boring Day

Expecting a meeting this morning at client's site so woke up earlier specially to come to work early so I can check some over-the-weekends emails and have my super quick breakfast before i head down to meet my colleagues and take a cab to client's place for a supposed intense meeting (i've volunteered to take minutes since i've realised this meeting will have nothing much to do with me but more for the rest of the colleagues as the areas discussed will not cover mine..hehe..). It as cancelled last minute while we were waiting for a colleague to take a cab down.

Just has coffeebean for lunch. the pasta is not fantastic but fills my tummy. I've more or less done with my work for the day except to contiue to dig into my database for resumes for clients. My daily routine would be to check emails and dig into my systems for resumes to meet requirementsssssss from clients.

I've just heard from one of my colleague over lunch that my boss has sold his SLK and just bought a Lambogini. wahhhhh.....it's so not compatible!!..i mean the driver and the car. Ta-match! how come i've never seen a young hunk drives such nice car??
