As Christ Is So Am I In This World!

Been a lonnnnnnnng time since i wrote anything. Was updating my hubby (yes, married already) on sun's message since he was on his way to Philippines for biz trip and i thought i "preached" myself happy...so here you go :):

From the verse “As Christ is, so are we in this world”

Pastor uses the illustration of Jesus walking on water and as Peter also followed, he was kept above the water as long as his eyes are beholding Jesus. In the workplace or anywhere, there bound to be pple speaking things abt you behind your back but as long as you behold Jesus, you don’t have to care abt the arrows that comes against you because it is not what the rest says about you that determines who you are, it’s what Jesus is, Jesus is at the right hand of God, at the favored position, with wisdom, wealth and health, so are we! We are accepted today because Christ has paid the price for our sins, diseases and poverty. We are the chosen ones to be blessed by God as it pleased Him that His begotten Son is crushed at the cross, it’s the truth. Sometimes, we look ard at our circumstances (or the devil cause us to look away from our blessed ground) and laments that how come this person and that person is not a Christians/ does not goes church as regularly as I do, and when it comes to promotion, he/she gets it. This is the devil’s way of causing you to look to the things around you and he will makes you think that you are not as good as you think/ not as blessed as you think, probably God has forgotten about you. You then feel you need to work hard to gain what you wish to have (that blessedness). But the devil will never points us back to Christ or anything that is related to Him and his works.
But today, we have a High Priest sitting at the right hand of God. Pastor also talks about the difference between a High Priest and Prophet. Do u know the difference?

Jesus is our High Priest, Moses is a Prophet.

Moses conveys God’s Word to the people and therefore representing God.
Jesus is the High Priest and now sits at the right hand of God representing us.

When the High Priest is good, the whole nation is good and vice versa, the whole nation will be rejected by God.

We have Jesus as our High Priest today, God delights in Him and therefore we are accepted based on Jesus.
No one can take you out of this position in Christ, so therefore do not let things/people of the Earth/World cause you to think you are out of fellowship with God and that He has probably forgotten you.

Wah….I preached myself happy! J

Every head bow and every eye close….heh heh heh…. :)
