Today's the fifth day dearie is in camp.....he was on reservist since Monday....time is passing pretty slowly....still another week to go and i will only get to see him tomorrow evening and sun he will be back in camp again while i'm happily serving in church. :P
Well, sigh sigh but! I still have the joy of the Lord! heh heh heh...happily shopping without him and best of all...His credit cards are with me! heh heh heh..keke...just kidding la..i shopped with my own money la.. i'm still complaining to friends that i have no sub card from him...which usually comes with the marriage package..:P Anyways we have discussed/debated about this before and he has his reasons for not doing so...SO IT IS OK! I was quite a feminist last time, nv thought i will get married and even spend my man's money, my ambition was to be a powerpac career woman when i was young. Now my ambition is to be a tai tai...hahaha....but my dearie don't allow me to be one now, so i have to wait......
Anyways, I wanted to write about something else actually....happened to catch "Let's Shoot" on Channel 8/U...can't rem.. and the topic was abt single parent. One of the guest was this 18 yr old gal who already had a baby. I missed a part of it but she looks like those too-havoc-to-be-responsible-mummy type talking abt her experience of being a single mum and why she wants to have a child so young. If i'm not wrong she prob mentioned there are women/gal like her who felt they do not need to be married to have a child and raise them all by themselves (or to be accurate also with the help of the gal's parents) as long as they felt they have the financial criteria. Tis prob makes man felt they have become secondary in the family unit. (well, she was called "childish" by a 15 year old boy who was one of the invited guests to the talk show and happened to be from a single parent ..haha- i really think the 15 year old boy might be more sensible than her). Another single parent is in her twenties and what i can't stand is that she is still with the child's father but the child's father did not want to shoulder the responsibility of a father and refused to acknowledge the child as his own (even called the galfriend's friend to make sure his name is not in the birth cert of the child when he is borned) - and the mum felt it's his choice to not wanting to acknowledge the child and it's her choice to give birth to the baby so no conflict, can still be her galfriend...duh?! she still wants a jerk to be her boyfriend after all this.....i was wondering....God! She needs some wisdom and women's dignity!! what is the child going to address her boyfriend when he/she grows up? "Uncle?"......i prob really do not understand why some gals can be so naive? but she did mentioned the guy's family is well-off so.....i guess to me, that's prob the only reason why she is still with him...if not she is prob not normal....the thought of it just cause anger to arose and not understand why some women are so weird in their thinking.......i really wonder..........arhhhhh... angry........

Life After Marriage
After almost 2 months into married life, friends are still asking how's married life. I guess we have to answer the same qns probably more than 100 times over say another half a year. My standard answer, :" great!....." hee...what makes it great? Well, at random order,
- We save time travelling to each other's place and back..we go back to the same place..in law's place is just a stone throw away.
- We get to see each other's habit and laugh it off or simply just endure.......
- We get to sleep together, glued to HK drama together, make breakfast/dinner together (initially), go shopping together, go for late night supper at Jalan Kayu (once)
- We clean up the house together (from once a week to once every 2 weeks...hee....)
- Save handphone/house phone bills since we can talk face to face every night.
- And many more things together coming up.......
exciting right?!..hee...his reservist coming up this Monday....and i'll miss these together things......back to the dating days..where we will talk on the phone every night again and i'll be back to WL the next 2 weeks.....can't wait for the 2 weeks to past....:((

As Christ Is So Am I In This World!
Been a lonnnnnnnng time since i wrote anything. Was updating my hubby (yes, married already) on sun's message since he was on his way to Philippines for biz trip and i thought i "preached" myself happy...so here you go :):
From the verse “As Christ is, so are we in this world”
Pastor uses the illustration of Jesus walking on water and as Peter also followed, he was kept above the water as long as his eyes are beholding Jesus. In the workplace or anywhere, there bound to be pple speaking things abt you behind your back but as long as you behold Jesus, you don’t have to care abt the arrows that comes against you because it is not what the rest says about you that determines who you are, it’s what Jesus is, Jesus is at the right hand of God, at the favored position, with wisdom, wealth and health, so are we! We are accepted today because Christ has paid the price for our sins, diseases and poverty. We are the chosen ones to be blessed by God as it pleased Him that His begotten Son is crushed at the cross, it’s the truth. Sometimes, we look ard at our circumstances (or the devil cause us to look away from our blessed ground) and laments that how come this person and that person is not a Christians/ does not goes church as regularly as I do, and when it comes to promotion, he/she gets it. This is the devil’s way of causing you to look to the things around you and he will makes you think that you are not as good as you think/ not as blessed as you think, probably God has forgotten about you. You then feel you need to work hard to gain what you wish to have (that blessedness). But the devil will never points us back to Christ or anything that is related to Him and his works.
But today, we have a High Priest sitting at the right hand of God. Pastor also talks about the difference between a High Priest and Prophet. Do u know the difference?
Jesus is our High Priest, Moses is a Prophet.
Moses conveys God’s Word to the people and therefore representing God.
Jesus is the High Priest and now sits at the right hand of God representing us.
When the High Priest is good, the whole nation is good and vice versa, the whole nation will be rejected by God.
We have Jesus as our High Priest today, God delights in Him and therefore we are accepted based on Jesus.
No one can take you out of this position in Christ, so therefore do not let things/people of the Earth/World cause you to think you are out of fellowship with God and that He has probably forgotten you.
Wah….I preached myself happy! J
Every head bow and every eye close….heh heh heh…. :)
